Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A are playing a 4-day match in Islamabad. Shaheens are dominating this game from the start with the bowl and with the bat as well. Umar Amin’s Background
Umar Amin is a promising cricketer He has represented Pakistan in the international circuit many times but he failed to impress there. From 2007, we have heard of his name as one of Pakistan’s most talented middle-order batsman. He made his debut in 2010 Asia cup but failed to perform there and then he came to test cricket but the story remained the same. Played T20i as well but failed to impress with his performance. He has a magnificent first-class career; he has scored more than 11,000 runs with 32 centuries. These are the stats that allowed him to make a comeback, and this time he has proved it with his performance.

4 day-Match Overview
In the 4-day game, the Pakistan Shaheens bowled really well and got Bangladesh A out for just 122. Mir Hamza and Naseem Shah were the prominent bowlers, with 3 wickets each. In the batting, Saud Shakeel and Umar Amin put on a great partnership of 195 runs. Captain Saud Shakeel scored 75 runs, and Umar Amin carried from there and ended up scoring 177 runs. The Pakistan Shaheens have scored 367-4 in the first inning so far.
Unfortunately, Umar Amin is not selected in Pakistan’s Test squad in this series, but after looking at his performance, it may be that he will get his chances in the future. He’s 34 years old and has just 4 to 5 more years left in his cricketing career and that also depends on his fitness. So, PCB should think of him now and don’t waste his time which he can spend serving for Pakistan.
